Millions of trees are destroyed every year to provide Yellow Pages with ridiculous claims of huge marketing distribution.

Please sign the petition HERE if you wish to save a few of these trees by only allowing Yellow Pages to be delivered to those places that directly request them. 

(My home and workplace don't use them so don't want them delivered - and meantime, we would like the ones we have picked-up and recycled). 

(Perhaps in this World of highly targetted marketing, Yellow Pages could take this opportunity to regain some credibility with advertisers. e.g. When surveying who wants a Yellow Pages delivery or not, they might ask who might access it online. They will then have useful data for their advertising clients as well as physical deliveries only to interested, qualified prospects).

And hey! I'm just an ordinary bloke who drives a car pumping-out pollution, has a Pepsi now and then and loves the Kangas in the AFL footy. I grew-up seeing Yellow Pages and the Trading Post as 'must haves'. However, things change and now I think that Yellow Pages could gain some big bonus points by leading helping the World in some small and easy way that doesn't take too much effort.
